Piano

1.) What kind of piano/keyboard should I get?

- If the student already has a piano of any kind, there is no need to buy a new one.

- If the student is planning on pursuing mastery on the piano the following features must be considered when buying a new keyboard:

  • Number of keys, preferably 88

  • Sustain Pedal

- Make sure that both you and your hands on the keys can be seen.

 

4.) Do I need a computer?

- Preferably but not required. A larger screen will help out during discussions and activities.

 

5.) Will putting labels on my piano keys be helpful in learning how to play it?

- If you are just starting out, yes, the labels will help you memorize the names of the keys. But, as you progress, you will no longer have the need for labels, therefore use sticker labels for piano keys that can be removed later on, instead of permanently writing on the keys with a marker or something similar.

Kickstart Your Musical Journey

Hone your musical skills through our interactive curriculum. With our offered programs, our enrollees are in for an 12-week intensive training with experienced instructors from across all fields of music.

The virtual classes for our musical instrument programs cater to both beginners and intermediate players.

Beginner Program

specialized for beginners or for those who have not tried their hand at playing musical instruments yet
* Students in this program will be connected to their instructors through live video conferencing that allows complete discussion between participants through a two-way real-time communication.

* They will submit their performance videos per lesson for instructors’ assessment.

* Their instructors will provide feedback and monitor their overall progress.

Intermediate Program

specialized for average players or for those who can already play a musical instrument
* Students in this program will be diagnosed according to their skills in note reading and playing.

* They will be in a group class (consisting of 8-15 students) with a 1-hour session per week.






At the end of the 3-month program, there will be a culminating activity where students can showcase their artistry through recitals. They will as well be awarded e-certificates for the completion of their chosen courses.
